Exhibitor numbers increased by 30%
With a 30% increase in exhibitor numbers compared to 2023, with an international feel, and significantly renewed, the 38th KOSMIMA is preparing to open its doors from 19 to 21 October at Pavilions 8, 9, and 10 of the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre.
The International Exhibition for Jewellery, Watches, Precious Stones, Machinery & Equipment will cover an exhibition space of 3000 sq.m., welcoming Greek and international direct exhibitors from Italy, Turkey, Bulgaria, Germany, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, and Cyprus.
Well-known companies as well as first-timers from the sector of jewellery and watches will present all the new trends in view of the festive season, in a glamorous event that is expected to attract the attention of the silver- and goldsmithing industry, as well as increased interest from commercial visitors.
In the context of this year’s KOSMIMA, the 35th Pan-Hellenic Jewellery Design Competition 2024 is being held on ‘Pearls: A Journey from the Yesterday of Tradition to the Tomorrow of Innovation’, organised by the Pan-Hellenic Federation of Silver- and Goldsmiths, Jewellers and Watchmakers (POVAKO) and TIF-HELEXPO. This well-established institution provides both new and more experienced creators with the opportunity to be inspired and showcase the timeless dynamism of 6000 years of Greek jewellery through their creations.
The competition focuses on imagination, creativity, and art, with modern and traditional references. This year, pearls — a very interesting jewellery element — is imbuing the event with a different atmosphere.
KOSMIMA is a solid and indisputable value in silver- and goldsmithing, as it is the only exhibition in Northern Greece for industry professionals. It consistently highlights domestic creation and production, presents the latest trends in the jewellery, watch, and packaging market, while it enables its trade visitors to prepare in time for the needs of the Christmas market.
KOSMIMA is exclusively for trade visitors.
