Silversmithing in Ioannina

This year’s Kosmima Exhibition is pleased to host Emeritus Professor of Ancient Greek History, Mrs. Katerini Liampi, as a speaker. She will present the narrative of silversmithing in Ioannina.

With a rich academic career in Greek universities, founder of a postgraduate program and a charitable organization, a member of numerous European and American scientific institutes, associations, and societies, and an invited speaker at international conferences, Mrs. Liampi has much to share.

She will discuss handcrafted processing and the developmental journey of silver in the Ioannina region, which has produced unique creations over the centuries.
